Thought Id start a thread on personal reg plates. Its something I've always been interested in. And to be honest, I think its the ultimate mod as there is only that one in the world. But with the ultimate mod comes ultimate cost. And if anyone wonders why I go by the Username of MRB3N, heres why...

Thats only for the plate what they dont tell you is the dvla will charge you before its even on the bike Just the transfer fee to assign it to the vehicle. That's just standard practice though dude. But a lot of plates you buy already come with transfer fees paid. If it is being held on retention with DVLA then they are already paid. So that's something to ask about or look for. And whatever it costs its still cheap if the plates only £200! I was offered £15,000 half an hour after I had won my plate at DVLA auction. Since then in 2011, www.reghunter.co.uk was looking to offer around £25,000 or so if I remember right. ...I said no.
