aahh. found it out got my piston today ! hoping to hone the cylinder tomorow and get it running by the end of this week Would be amazing if you do. Make sure we all get to see and hear a nice video. ;D

okay, time for an update, did some work today.. but i need a wrench that measures the torque to do the rest... the new gaskets im gonna put in. new/old piston got the piston and rings in fairly easy.. new gasket in place.. the cylinder came on pretty easy.. stuff between cylinder and the head ( or whaterver its called in ennglish, directly traqnselated from norwegian its the top) got the cylinder on.. and a new gasket up there.. stuff thats not fitted yet.. and as you see on the pic,, the valve rods is not the same length.. witch one go where... asked on a super cub forum.. hoping to get an asnwer...

done rebuilding the enigne only missing the flywheel... also bought 1liter 15w-40 mineral motorcycle oil

You have got to be the best bike project blogger Iserbil. Haha. Very detailed and interesting. I love it. I cant wait to see what it sounds like in start up. A brand new re-build on a very old bike. AWESOME!

thanks im exited to! just got the flywheel on, im in the middle of adjusting the valves,,,, only things left is to adjust the valves and ajust the ignition

just finished adjusting the valves and the ignition.. then i stated mounting everything the engine slipped easy in.. my custom exhaust too ^^ the pics i took after i put the white legsheld on waqs blurry due to me shaking the camera... it sounds amazing.. ( just kicked it.. it dont spark... any sugestions?? ) the sound is alot deeper in real life...

HA! found the problem,,,, the contact point that creates a spark behind the flywheel.... i read that it should be 0.7mm on the highest... then i got no spark.... and read it again... it turns out to be 0.3mm ,,, adjusted it ,, and wholla! got spark... but then i realiced i dont have any fuel in it -.- fack! ill get fuel tomorow so exsited! first startup after probly 30 years...

havent talked to him for a while... he lives 5 hours away from me but i will shurely tell him i got his old moped goiong again got it running.... but i need to replace some gaskets in the carb/ sort out where all the tubes goes

here is my questions about the carb,,, 1. what is this for? it was leaking so i stuck a pice of wood instide it , but that didnt stop the leak.. 2. what is this tube for? where should it go? 3. i think i may have to open it andr replace this gasket ... could i make my own out of a gasket sheet?

That is amazing!!! And yes it is called the Float in English. I was guessing that's why it was leaking. No idea what that thing is where you've blocked it with wood? Im guessing its supposed to have a breather tube attached to it.
