hey guys and gals! been on here a while but haven't had much of a chance to say hi! so while i'm on my break at work i will make this. "please bear with pics there are not many on the iPad" I'm Penelope Khetil but everyone calls me Pimy or Penny idc which, i ride a 2009 Yamaha YZF R125 and its my 2nd one but 4th bike. i passed my test on feb the 10th 2010 but your very own MrB3n found me on another forum and asked me to join. So i did. Bikes so far are. 2009 yzf r125 taken out by a uninsured driver 2004 Ninja 250 lowside slide smash write off 2010 yzf r6 rear ended by a chav's saxo and went into a van 2009 yzf r125 IT LIVES!!!!!!!!!! bike pic when im at home

And I wasn't going to mention the "rainbow dashing" in case it was a secret. I want a bore kit too. Not sure if to go 180cc, 200cc or just keep 125cc and add the racing cam.

Who fitted it? Did you do it yourself? And what kind of power do you have now Penny? The Malossi has always looked like a good bit of kit. Although the black race cam with the stock 125cc engine is supposed to be really good. I currently have a Power Commander 5 on my bike.

My partner fitted, dyno and sorted out the maps. Honestly it's more midrange power rather than a whole overhaul of power so the top end is still naff but you can prolly bet 90 at a push I really doubt any more will come from it obviously you need a new front sprocket idk what mine is but it's not a stock one because I can get over the old bouncing point of 83mph.
I was looking at a PC5 but I can't see any difference to what I have now so I can't justify the spend lmao though.

if you can afford it and want performance have an rs as your sunday bike, my mates aprilia destroy big bore kit yzfs, just seems so pointless the cost of buying and setting up a big bore is the cost of a neat aprilia or nsr or tzr or rg but i mean each to there own and respect for riding anyway penny i only know like 1 other female with a big bike

Yeah I am keeping my R125 for a long time yet. Insurance is only £166 this year. And in November I will have 3 years no claims so should hopefully drop again. £16 tax and fuel and oil/maintenance costs cheap so its a brilliant bike. Im 28 years old and I have no desire to get rid yet. Gonna take my full test on my R125 too. I passed my Theory first time weeks ago. Just waiting for nice weather to do my MOD 1 and 2 which are already paid for!

There is a kit more suited for your mods also Ben, comes with no PC and exhaust so it's near the 400 mark like less than half the price of mine just tell them the year of your bike and they make it for you. Night night guys I got a early start tomorrow the joys of being a manager yay me 4 til 4 love it
