hey, im a 16 year old norwegian boy who is almost done getting my driving license due to norwegian rules i can not drive a bike bigger than 15hk, 11kw or weights over 150kg. the motorcycle i have always wanted is a honda shadow 125 but because the only bike i have driven is a honda cbr 125 im not sure what to choose! i do feel that ill have more control on a cbr but since ive never driven anything else before i dont know how to compare them. im also a pretty big guy and i feel that the shadow would suit me better i hope i can get some tips here and buy a bike as fast as possible!

aight, is there any else two stroke 125cc that you guys would reccomend? I'm not too knowledgeable on 2 strokes tbh but, 4 strokes are generally more reliable. Is there any particular reason you want a 2 stroke?

BTW sorry for asking so many questions but im really lost in which bike to choose. If you want a sports bike look, the top 2 bikes are either the Yamaha YZF R125 or the Honda CBR 125. Both are great bikes. The Yamaha R125 is a bit more expensive though but, I cannot fault it in any other way. (I've owned 2 of them).

okk so for the 4strokes, it comes down to money and preference performance is pretty much bang on the same no matter what bike anyway, but if you use your bike alot id suggest stick to 4 stroke as 2 strokes take alot of maintenance to keep them running sweet and alot more rebuilding to keep them fresh

Do not buy a 2 stroke. Simple answer dude. Its 2013. Get something better and leave the 2 smokers for the race track. If you went out shopping for a new mobile phone, would you buy this?!... The same thing applies (in my opinion). And trust me, Ive had 2 different Honda NSR Models and 3 Aprilia RS models, a Yamaha TZR and Suzuki RG etc. You will spend 25% of your time riding the bike and 75% of your time taking it apart!
