I know this is such a noob question but is it just the one bolt that I need to take off in the under tray? I've not taken mine off. I want to though. But I not doing it unless I get a seat cowl. irishal has taken his off. I think some others on here have too...

Yeah I r got seat cowl on so looks not silly having them on :/ there's a bolt on the under tray and also big bolt under the seat. So going to take them off later once I get home from this job lol

I took mine off when putting on my tail tidy and new indicators. Personally I found it abit tight without taking some plastics off, but I had only had my bike a week and didn't want cracked plastics!

you will have to take most of the plastics off surrounding them, thats the only way.
