Just had a look at the ferry... £191 return for a bike. I can get a return flight for around £45 or less but, the plane doesn't take bikes

yeh dave me and a mate where going to come over for a weekend but its too much just for a ferry

It's one of the many downsides to living here tbh. I'm seriously thinking of moving back to Liverpool or the surrounding areas but, trying to sell a property at the moment ain't so good.

Don't get me wrong, living here has its benefits but, the downsides can suck.

Yeah it must suck for when you want to leave the island to go somewhere or even when you've got people wanting to come visit you like family or friends because the ferry cost shit loads of money :/
