I dunno why I like this stuff but I do. This is a cutaway of the overhead camshaft of a BMW S1000 RR. The S1000 RR is a 193 BHP bike and redlines at 14,200 RPM. Which is working the cam and valves at 118 cycles per second!!!

At bout 2 mins I decided that it was only two circles and springs that were turning and not going up and down, but this is insane I love engines and anything mechanical and everytime I see something like this I think its amazing how we created something tht can go that fast but and sustain it

i love engines and things they fascinate me from ever since i was little from like 9 i was trying (and i meen trying i couldnt undo alot of things) to tinker with my uncles quad bikes i loved them and now i have worked in a garage with cars doing mots and such and learning from my brother who is a engineer in the army i have learnt so much more i cant wait to get in the engineers myself you learn so much! aswell as learn to blow stuff up B)

yup my aprlilia blew up as i mentioned in my other post and i have witnessed a diesel engine running away with itself thats pretty scary experience lol and yh trial and error is probs only the best way to learn

no a pitbike with a cdi which took away the rev limitier so it would rev and rev and rev
