For those of you who cant afford to spend a few hundred quid on an aftermarket exhaust, here is a decent mod you can do to the stock exhaust...
Modifying Stock Exhaust
The only tools you need for this is a junior hacksaw and an allen key.
To start, you need to remove the end cap of the exhaust by undoing the hex bolts.
After that you should see a type of "cage" that is around the exhaust tip and holds the cap on.
You then take your Junior Hacksaw, undo the blade and put one end under the top mounting of the cage to get it through, then re-attach the blade.
Now you need to use the hacksaw to saw off the inner pipe that comes out from the exhaust.
Be careful not to cut into the actual "cage" as you get almost through the pipe. Its quite close!
Once you are through and that pipe piece is gone it should look like this.
Then you can replace your end cap and secure with the hex bolts and allen key.
Your completed exhaust project should now look like this.
It should now sound much better compared to the stock.
A bit more popping and rumbling and a bit less "lawmower-ish".
