Dual Headlight ModI noticed when I got back from college that my new soldering iron had arrived. So I decided to do the dual headlight mod thinking it was nice and easy. And it was easy to take apart and solder... ...But a bloody nightmare to put together again! Did my head in. Needed about 2 pairs of hands and still use your feet to hold stuff. But finally got it all back together. And I even managed to take some pics to show you all. First take apart the switch. You can see how tiny the bits are.   Then I took some wire and coated it in solder. Then soldered that piece across the low beam and main power points on the circuit board.   Now when you turn the ignition on the low beam lights as normal & the pass switch flashes the high beam. But when you flick to high beam the low beam doesn't switch off. So you have both lights to see where youre going. Also fully MOT road legal.  And here is the finished end result!

Bout time U did this Ben! I am waiting for a soldering iron myself to do this I can see shit at night when I put my full beams on

Yhyh I got one on its way nd what side light bulbs have U got? I really want some blue ones They are single LED's encased in a glass dome. Kinda hard to explain. Its light an LED inside a marble? I have tried just about every type of LED sidelight there is online and every single one has broken from 5 mins to a couple of days. They break due to vibration. The connections are really weak. In fact I've had plenty arrive after being thrown around in the post and not work from the start! I've tried the single LED, dual LED, 4 cluster LED and even 7 cluster LED sidelights and all break. Then I managed to get these one I have now and I've had these 6 months and are perfect. I've dropped these on the floor (on purpose) and tried them and still fine. They just don't break. Also the glass part acts like a wide angle lens and makes them super bright for a single LED. These are even brighter than the 7 and 9 LED clusters that people try and wedge into their bikes. Anyway, if you Paypal me a quid (to cover postage) then I will send you a set of blue ones for FREE. No bullpoo, your a decent guy and I'm nice like that. |

Bloody hell, I don't wanna be making you create one just for paying me. But to be honest you will need a PayPal if you're gonna buy that Fly Eye Tint Film or for shopping on eBay. And if you wanted LBIKER decal/stickers in future then you'd need PayPal. In fact buying a lot of stuff you will need PayPal and everyone should have one really dude, so yeah go make one!!! Haha. ;D |

Haha pervert ;-) and cheers mate it is nice little island U should come down at some point there is a b and b across the road to me and im very good friends with the owners be cool if U came down for a blast U would love the coast roads and im like a 2 min walk to a beach and 5min ride or less to Portland bill a awsome lighthouse the road to there is amazing next time it is nice I will try to attach my phone to me somehow so U can see the road to it |
