how does this work? wont one bulb be shining higher than the other? since there not two filament bulbs? Yes. One is High Beam and one is Dipped Beam.. But the mod of dual lights is only on High Beam. When you are riding on Dipped Beam, you still have Dipped Beam only. But when you switch to High Beam, you have BOTH lights. As stock, when you flick to High Beam, you only have one light and its barely better than the single Dipped Beam. With the mod, you are bridging the gap. So when you flick to High Beam, the power to Dipped Beam doesn't get cut. That way you have both lights on and can see a lot MORE!R6's are actually setup like this as standard. So you can also do what Irish Al has done and fit the R6 switch unit. You will even have a hazard lights switch then too. But they aren't cheap.
