Right this has happened a few tikes now sometimes it doesn't sometimes it does usually if im holding a lower speed say 50 for a while so top gear 55mph 7,000rpm exactly and even if I pull the throttle down all the way it still stays there anyone know what the cause could be? Btw it has only started to happen roughly about the time a little prick nicked my scorpion exhaust baffle but I think it happened before that so any help is appreciated!

Simple answer??? - You're running a stock Fuel Map. When the bike is new from the factory, its is only running at about 70% to 75% of its Potential Power. This is to make up for different emission and power laws around the various countries that the bike is sold in. As soon as you add any aftermarket exhaust or air filter etc, you drop that bikes potential power to about 60% to 65% or even less when you remove baffles etc! To sort these problems you need correct fuelling. This is done with a fuel commander unit of some sort. A few well known brands are: DynoJet Power Commander (Version 3 or Version 5). GPR PowerJet Extreme Koso Fuel Control Malossi ForceMaster. Speed Sparks Piggy Daytona ECU.With the right fuel and air ratio mix and at the right times of the bikes fuel power curve you can get your bikes potential power to 90% to 95%!!!For a full 100% is near impossible and would take a long time on a Dyno with a racing team and isn't really worth it.

Its been fine before tho? Well I'm only giving the facts dude. And wait till you get your bike to run at 95% of its potential. Then you'll realise how pants it was before! I am trying different fuel maps at the moment. But going to write my own soon!

Right I found out coming home tht my bike will do 55 only in top gear if im in the gear below it keeps climbing but as soon as I go into top gear the revs start to drop slowly and so does my speed then when I change back down I pick up speed again? :S

I've had 89 on the flat no wind before on mine but now itl only do 55 in top gear feels like im on a 50cc I have never used 6th gear. And I don't know many stock R125 riders that have. The 6th gear only becomes any use when you do engine mods. Other wise it will slow you down. DONT USE IT!
