I know everyone always has their opinions on this subject but is there anyone that has actually rode one?
how good/bad are they?
and also what sort of insurance did you pay?
im 29, past restricted license last October so still got over a year before i can upgrade but not sure if i want to wait that long
answers will be much appreciated
thanks lee

ive ridden a couple of restricted bikes you dont notice until you try give it the full power on the throttle and they dont rev out freely because of the restriction they will be good for about 100mph some people wil lget a bit more but you wont see the full speed, but for the most part they are ok to ride some bandits ive ridden have been shit on fuel with the restrictions

I don't think its very good to strangle a 600cc sports bike engine.
Just my personal opinion.

it wont do anything to the engine it restricts air nothing else or you can get throttle pin restrictions

Says me who has just put a 150cc Race Fuel Map on my R125. I have added a more air to match it though too. And the bike is an animal now. Should hear it.

Now I am chucking a 150cc worth of fuel into it, I have nothing at all! Weird or what? I really don't understand this stuff sometimes.

I dunno top end. But acceleration in each gear is crazier than Susan Boyles tits! It just feels "stronger" as well. Pulls a lot better.
