Hopefully everything will have thawed out by 2pm! Should be a nice day for a test. Only a few things to remember: Presumably you CAN ride a bike! Smooth with the controls; good obs before any change of speed, direction or signal; look well ahead and anticipate; correct position; ride normally. Don't rush - you can't get back early. If you do, the Ex will just have to extend the route to fill the required time! So relax and just go for a happy ride. You can't fail for going the wrong way, you can fail for going the right way wrongly! Don't change your plan at the last minute if you get confused about where you're going. At the start - you've already passed! It's yours to lose by doing something stupid. Can you ride for 5 minutes without doing anything crazy? Great! Do another 5 mins, and then another etc. When you get back, you'll still be passing! Yay! ;D MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALL YOUR PAPERWORK!!!! BOTH parts of your licence, CBT, Theory Cert, Mod 1 Pass Cert. Check the bike over if it's your own (or a schools!) and check the fuel. If you're well prepared, it is a fairly simple ride. Ex wants to see you can ride a bike, and do it safely in relation to all the other folk out there. So, look up, well ahead, plan for the next junction lights etc. If you see it, you can deal with it. Don't be surprised. Then good routines OSM and correct position. That's it. Have fun! Hope you get your ticket to ride.

Firstly, GOOD LUCK E3kimo! And yeah I always sing to myself when I'm getting frustrated on the road with idiot dangerous granny drivers or stuck in traffic etc. It works! You will be fine mate. You can only do your best. And if you did fail its only gonna help you pass the next time as you wont be left guessing what you've done wrong and you can learn from it.

Oh dear! Was that too early BEFORE the roundabout (RAB) or while you were on it? I'm guessing, probably while you were on it. Unless it was really really early, most RABs you could signal reasonably well before getting there. While on it: Obs, then signal left as you pass the exit before the one you want is the idea. Too early could confuse others about your intentions. Ah well - live & learn (we hope). Bit of a bummer and more cost, but see it as good experience and set up for an easy ride next time. Hopefully you didn't find the whole too stressful. At least you now know what it's all about and can be more relaxed next time. Keep practicing in the mean time! Onward!

Indicating too early? That's a fail? So its a major point not a minor? I'm not sure I would be taking it as easy as you are e3kimo. Good luck for next time though dude.
