What did it say in the listing for the rear wheel? What year? The front wheel seems to look like a normal gold wheel but as he didn't tell you about the scrapes, send him a message telling him you will open a case if he doesn't respond. He will have to give you a full refund and you keep the wheel or a partial refund because he sold an item not as described.

And the rear wheel I bought as part of an entire swing-arm. You remember that little bargain I got Al? Haha. I just checked the old swing-arm auction description and it says it is of a 61 plate.

Tell him you'll get intouch with your bank to cancel and take the payment back if he doesn't sort the problem. If he doesn't reply then contact your bank and tell them you bought something but it's different to what was described.

And now it seems I'm saying fuck the white wheels too. As I need to bosh the bearings out apparently so that means a full set of bearings front and rear. It just more and more expensive. Added with the fact I need to taxi it everywhere. And some taxi drivers are funny about taking mucky wheels in their car. Its just more and more hassle. And also a lot of travelling here and there. Im gutted, but think I'm just gonna tart my silver wheels with some nice blue tape or decals I think.

Hmmm perhaps. Thanks for the help guys. If the gold wheels don't sell soon then perhaps I'll re-think. But for now I'm removing the silver wheels off my bike, then laying them on my bench as I clean them thoroughly with a toothbrush! Then gonna do some decal ideas. I fancy some logos like an "R" or a Tuning Fork Logo.

Seen that done so many times and its only good for so long. Wheels need to be super hard otherwise they chip. Plus when you start getting brake cleaner on them to clean oil and brake dust and shite off it takes the paint off etc.

Well today was supposed to be chain and sprockets day, but instead I've done decals... I have taken off the belly-pan and boomerang panels and stripped them of the stock Yamaha big "swoosh" decal and also the NGK decals. I have cleaned and polished the belly-pan panels and added Pirelli logos. I have some new NGK decals on order which should arrive Monday to also put on the belly-pan. The boomerangs are now clear of sticky residue from the old stock decals. And I am polishing them up ready to have new decals put on. I have some R125 logos to go onto the boomerangs. I will probably do them tomorrow. I have also fitted an R125 logo to the nose cone in place of the old stock "eye-patch" decal.

Well as some of you know, I have been wanting to change my wheels as part of a major change to my bike including stock decal removal etc... Well I have finally got myself a pair of gold wheels. Woooooo! Little did I know that there are at least 2 different colours of the gold wheels!!! Also the front one arrived with curb scraping so now I am peed off to say the least! I am now considering taking both gold wheels and having them shot-blasted, cleaned and powder-coated gloss white. Who thinks this is a good idea? I really don't want to be shopping about for another gold wheel to match up as for all I know there could be more gold shades! Its doubtful but there could be. Plus do other sellers know there are different shades of gold R125 wheels? So white gloss wheels. Perhaps with some smart blue rim tape or decals? Here are the gold wheels... Its hard to show on camera that they are different golds. In fact looking at them now in the dark evening light in my shed (man-den) they look more the same. But I swear they aren't in daylight! I was just checking this out and I think these marks are from where the guy tried to take the tyre off. I can see the weights are removed from the rear wheel.
