the biggest do not is still not aim a jet wash right at any bearing or anything that needs grease or oiling Jet washes are quick and easy but do have bad points. DO NOT point anywhere near your decals!!!

Depending how often you want to clean your bike i would use, speed detailer and 4 - 5 clean microfibers. Also polish and waxing the bike afterwards, will make it alot easier next time, it should only take 5 minutes to clean your bike using speed detailer. You could also buy some stuff called TFR to get stubborn dirt off your bike and wheel, we use this in work on all our cars works wonders!

Ive jet washed my bike loads of times. You just have to be careful of your decals as if you point it close enough it will take them off. But everything else is fine to give a waft over.

I use Turtle Wax 'Wash n Wax' Car shampoo.
Sometimes if I feel like it I will dry the bike, if not i'll wait a day then polish all the fairings up with my pledge.
But tonight just ordered
SDoc100 Chain Power Gel cleaner Muc off Miracle Shine Wax Muc off 1LR Wheel cleaner
To spice up my black alloys again, then wax the bike once a month to bring up the sparkles in the paint again. SDoc100 chain cleaner has amazing reviews, a german company. Put it on then powerwash the chain to get it off, then if still dirty just re-do with chain brush.
So my next routine will be.
Hose bike down, Warm bucket of Turtle Wax Shampoo, soak the bike and wheels in that, Spray Muc off Wheel Cleaner all over the wheels, then hose it all off. Soak the chain in SDoc100 for 15 minutes, then powerwash that and alloys to get the brake dust and crap off. Dry, Polish up with my pledge then Wax the fairings with Miracle Shine.
I'm also thinking of buying Dodo Juice Need for Speed, 3 in 1 Wax/Polish/Cleaner for alloys. Read some very good reviews on that stuff too.

I've also been recommended Autosmart Tardis.
That stuff is meant to be some insane shit for your alloys

I ran out of WD40. So would now rather use trusted products. What polish do you use for your alloys? Yeah I have mr sheen for panels, that shines it up a bit, but you're meant to wax your bike like once a month. SO that'll freshen up all the paint big time
