How do you clean your bike and what are your do's and dont's its nice to get advice and to see if there are easier things to do then the way your doing it sometimes please dont start any arguments over which is better ect... each to there own and all that ride safe E3kimo

Just a wash with a cheap £1 car/bike shampoo, I use back to black wherever its needed and then I polish with Mr Sheen!

i use pledge on my panels but what do people recommend for cleaning wheels because with me having white wheels its a total pain when you get chain lube and dust on them

Or a decent wheel cleaner. I've tried a few cheaper ones and they were naff though. Wonder Wheels is awesome, but not cheap. And its a fiddly process. Personally I use the spray oven cleaner! The one that foams up. And it makes your lungs close. Get some of that evil stuff on your wheels its awesome! Don't go buying the Mr Muscle one at £4 either. There is exactly the same stuff available at 99p! I will take a picture of my own one under the sink and post it.

I use Rock oil bio-clean gets through anything ever since i first used it spray the bike with it every were let it soak in a little agitate the dirtier areas with brush or cloth depending if its a fairing panel or wheel or swing arm then rub till clean then rinse off with a hose then i use some polish on the tank mirrors and fairing then im good to go www.trialsuk.co.uk/products/rock-oil-bike-biokleen-1ltr

only thing with oven cleaner i dont want it to take the paint off my wheels lol i use wounder wheels at moment but i was going to try something different (cheaper ;D)

i use muc-off cleaner, it soooo easy just wet the bike spray the stuff on leave it for 5 mins and then rinse and rub, brings my bike up a treat everytime

after all the things ive tried Wounder Wheels=not bad, Muc Off= crap compared to wounder wheels, WD-40 wow brings my wheels back to white in 5mins all the grease/lube just wipes off i was amazed lol

the biggest do not is still not aim a jet wash right at any bearing or anything that needs grease or oiling
